Help design clients take a multilingual brief beyond the first layout
By Enuncia Global ·
A brochure that looks finished in one language may need fresh attention when the copy changes language. Design studios can introduce translation and desktop-publishing enquiries to Enuncia, with the source files and expected deliverable clearly described.
Send the design context with the language request
Explain whether the client wants translated text, a recreated layout or both. Identify the source application, page count and available editable files. Note text embedded inside graphics, charts, tables and photographs; these elements can be missed when only the main text is counted.
Ask who controls fonts, brand assets and approved terminology. If the target language uses a different writing direction or script, record any known layout requirements. Final font choices, file compatibility and production scope need project-specific review.
Agree where your studio's work ends
Clarify which team will approve wording, which will check layout and who will produce the final print or digital file. A referral arrangement does not automatically include white-label delivery, editable-file reconstruction or printer coordination.
