Follow up on a referral with a useful question

By Enuncia Global ·

A useful follow-up adds context or resolves a question. Repeatedly asking for an update without identifying the enquiry can create confusion for the client, the partner and the reviewing team.

Reference the existing record

Identify the submitted lead or the original enquiry and state the question clearly. You may need to confirm whether a missing file has arrived, whether the client has changed the deadline or whether more scope information is needed. Share new information as an update, not as a duplicate lead.

If the client has not agreed to further contact, do not turn a referral into repeated unwanted outreach. Respect their preferred communication route and any request to stop. A genuine introduction is more useful than pressure to manufacture a response.

Avoid interpreting silence as an outcome

No reply does not establish approval, rejection, a sale or commission. Use the available review process and ask Enuncia about the specific uncertainty. Do not promise the client that work has started unless that has been confirmed.

Partners can explore Enuncia Network for a structured referral relationship. The written agreement should explain commercial eligibility and the relevant process, while individual enquiries remain subject to project review and the client's decisions.
