Document referrals
Build a document referral around the recipient's written instructions
By Enuncia Global ·
The person requesting a translation may not be the organisation deciding whether the result meets a submission requirement. A stronger referral starts with the recipient's instructions rather than a general assumption about what 'official translation' means.
Ask for the exact requirement
Identify the receiving institution, authority or business and ask the client for its current written instructions. Record the requested language, file format and any stated certification or translator-qualification condition. If the instruction is unclear, flag the question for clarification with the recipient.
Keep different services distinct. Translation, certification, notarisation and attestation should not be treated as interchangeable labels. Describe what the recipient asks for and let the applicable service requirement be reviewed before quoting or promising a result.
Keep the handoff factual
Include the document type, page count, source language and intended submission date. Share the instruction alongside the enquiry, with the client's permission, so Enuncia can assess the actual request.
A referral partner should not guarantee acceptance by a university, employer, authority or other recipient. Enuncia reviews scope and availability for accepted work. Your value in the handoff is making the requirement visible, not interpreting an uncertain instruction as a guaranteed outcome.
