When the client changes the brief, make the change visible
By Enuncia Global ·
A small message from a client can contain a significant scope change. Extra pages, another language or a new output format should be described explicitly rather than folded silently into an existing enquiry.
Compare the new request with the original
Identify what has changed: source version, volume, language direction, deadline or deliverable. Keep the original reference available and label the revised files. If only certain sections changed, ask the client to identify them instead of assuming the whole document is unchanged.
Explain whether the new request replaces the previous one or adds another output. A later file with a similar name can otherwise be mistaken for the agreed source. Do not reconfirm the old quotation or delivery date on Enuncia's behalf.
Let the accepted scope be reviewed again
Send the update through the appropriate project communication route with the client's permission. Enuncia can assess any effect on feasibility, pricing or timing. The client should understand that the revised requirement needs confirmation.
Affiliate partners can support accurate communication without deciding production commitments. If the change also affects a commercial referral question, discuss it against the written partner agreement rather than assuming a revised project automatically creates an additional commission.
