Give a marketing translation enquiry a clear audience and purpose

By Enuncia Global ·

Marketing copy is written to influence a particular reader. When introducing a language enquiry, explain who the new reader is and what the content should help them understand or do.

Put the communication goal into the brief

Identify the target language, audience, channel and campaign objective. Include the source copy and its context: an advertisement, landing page, brochure or email. Explain the tone and any brand terms that should remain consistent, with approved examples where the client can supply them.

Ask whether the client expects a close translation or wants creative adaptation discussed. Those are different expectations. Character limits, prohibited phrases, required wording and calls to action should be visible before scope is agreed.

Identify who can approve the message

Name the client reviewer and explain whether legal, brand or product teams must also approve the result. Translation does not substantiate an advertising claim, so the client remains responsible for supplying accurate source claims and required approvals.

Agencies can introduce the project with permission through Enuncia Network. Enuncia reviews language availability and accepted scope; a referral does not guarantee campaign performance. Describe the marketing clients you serve when applying for a partner relationship and confirm commercial terms in writing.
