Word count, page count or runtime: describe the work you are referring
By Enuncia Global ·
The size of a language project is not always visible from the number of files. Give Enuncia a practical description of the material so the team can review the scope and ask for the right information.
Use the measure that fits the content
For editable text, include an available word count and identify whether tables, footnotes and embedded images are included. For scanned documents, record the page count and describe the density and legibility. A mostly blank certificate and a page of close-set text should not be assumed to involve the same work.
For audio or video, provide the runtime and explain the requested output. Transcription, translation, subtitles and voice work are separate activities. Mention the number of files, multiple speakers and whether an approved script is available.
Treat your estimate as a starting point
State how the count was obtained and flag incomplete material. If only a sample is available, explain that it is a sample rather than the complete source. Final volume and price are confirmed through Enuncia's review of the actual requirement.
An approved referral partner can help the client assemble this information without quoting on Enuncia's behalf. A precise enquiry supports a better discussion; it does not by itself establish project acceptance or commission eligibility.
