Layout and delivery
Ask whether the client needs an editable translated file
By Enuncia Global ·
A PDF may be convenient to read but may not meet a client's need to update the content later. Ask about editability before the enquiry is scoped, especially when the client expects to reuse a translated template or brochure.
Name the required format
Record the application or file type the client expects to edit, along with the final reading or submission format. Explain whether the original editable source exists. If only a scan or flattened PDF is available, make that limitation clear so reconstruction can be assessed.
Ask which elements need to remain editable: body text, tables, diagrams or the complete layout. Fonts, linked images and application compatibility can matter, so list known requirements rather than treating 'editable' as a single universal output.
Define the handover expectation
Identify who will receive and review the files and whether a PDF is also needed for reference. If the client plans to make later changes, clarify that those changes are separate from the delivered source version.
Introduce the enquiry to Enuncia with permission. The team reviews feasibility, output and timing for accepted work. A referral partner should not promise a particular native format or full design reconstruction until the actual source and scope have been confirmed.
