Ask better intake questions when a student needs a translation
By Enuncia Global ·
Students may arrive with an urgent deadline and an incomplete understanding of the translation requirement. A consultant can help make the enquiry clearer by asking a few focused questions before introducing Enuncia.
Start with the submission destination
Ask which institution or organisation will receive the documents and request its written instructions. Record the required target language, document types and submission date. Ask whether a particular format, certification or translator qualification is stated, and flag anything the student needs to clarify with the recipient.
List transcripts, certificates and other documents separately. Confirm complete pages, reverse-side notes and legibility. If the student has an established spelling of their name in another record, identify it as reference information without changing the source.
Explain the referral step accurately
With the student's permission, introduce the requirement to Enuncia for review. The team assesses the requested work and discusses the quote and timing for accepted projects. Do not guarantee admission, document acceptance or equivalence of qualifications.
